Gathering of the Goddesses...2007

What does it mean to be a Goddess? Well I am so glad you asked. A Goddess by definition is:

2. a woman of extraordinary beauty and charm.
3. a greatly admired or adored woman.

However, this word just by definition seems so superficial to me. We are so much more than just our parts...we are mothers, lovers and wives, friends, co-workers, students, but most of all very human.

So what IS the Gathering of the Goddesses? It truly is about beauty but not the kind that you see on the surface...it is about extraordinary women who come together despite the odds and share openly and unabandonly the good, the bad and the ugly...it is an unconditional friendship where you feel no shame in who you are or how you got there. Quiet simply they are amazing...so I offer you my interpretation of this year's Gathering of the Goddesses (GoG) 2007
